I'm Married to an Old Man

Jason celebrated his 30th birthday on March 30th! I can still relish in the fact that he's sooo much older than me, at least for a few months. :)

We celebrated with friends and family with a little surprise shin-dig. It was a lot of work, but we pulled it off. And, best of all, he was surprised. Yay!

We started with a meal at Milestone's (cheesy, huh?). We were by far the latest ones there, which was partially by design, but partially because of Jason fishing and not knowing the plans.

Then we finished off with beer and cake (and a "beer cake") to celebrate at Hans and Mariet's.

Road Trip...well, kind of

Last month Jason and I decided to "get-away" for our anniversary (hey, wasn't that in January? oh well, for Valentine's Day, then). We thought about driving over to Trail, BC for a scenic view and many many hours in the car together. Then, thought better of it and decided to go to SEATTLE instead. The day we left. Well, technically, the hour before we left. Yay for short-notice, short-weekend vacations!

Visit to the Aquarium

Just after Christmas we made a day trip out to the Vancouver Aquarium. Maybe Isaiah will like FISH as much as daddy....
