Nobody Said It Was Easy

Moving into the "new house" this past week has been...exciting, to say the least. But, has also caused an upheaval of emotions--once again. That unsettled feeling just lingers, especially when one's life is still in boxes. I know that eventually we will have everything on the list done and eventually this new place will start to feel like a home. *sigh*. Eventually. And there is a hope that even in a new space, a new time, a new country....there will be life even better than before. In time.

As soon as we got back, we had our "Canadian" Reception to celebrate our wedding! Our friend Phil took some pictures for us:

And soon after that we had our "American" Reception back in Kalida. It was so good to see friends and family again so soon after leaving and to celebrate our wedding with them! The amazing and talented Robin took pictures there for us:

March 2010 finally ended the wedding craziness! It was so much fun and we were/are soooo grateful for everyone who made our celebrations possible!

February/March-The Recap

Let's see...what an exciting February and March we've had! Well, somewhat exciting. Jason has still been working on the house almost every day. We had a couple of friends come and help-one with painting and one with tiling, so that was a huge blessing! There is still a long way to go at this point!! But, as I keep promising, when one room is done I will start posting before and after pictures. Process pictures are just not as fun as "after" shots.

March brought three new little ones into our circle of friends! Andrew and Kelsy had Jude first on March 2nd (one week late), followed by Bryant and Michelle's Thomas on March 7th (3 weeks early) and last, but not least, Jordan and Angela had Hudson one week later on March 14th. Whew! Babies, babies and more babies! I think we were all surprised to have three little boys! It makes us excited to see what our little one will be--but we won't be finding that out until August! :) Here is the only pregnant picture that Michelle and I took together:

In March we also got our first "pictures" of the baby! Hello Baby:

We also celebrated the big 2-9 for Jason; his last birthday before the baby! We took Mommy and baby to their first ever professional hockey game! Baby V. must like hockey because s/he sure was moving like crazy when those Canucks scored!
